Nottingham Mencap in Mansfield calls for caring Support and Enablement Workers to join the Befriending service in the Rainworth and Mansfield area. You will support individuals within their family home and in the community, helping them achieve social and personal goals.

Roles include a 10-hour position and various zero-hours shifts; induction and accredited online training are provided, with a friendly environment and Blue Light Card access.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism.
• Reliable and able to use initiative.
• 1-2-1 community support for children, young people and adults.
• Male and driver-specific role for the 10 hour position.

Support and Enablement Worker - Befriending NG21

Location: interview will take place at Clarence Street, successful applicants will support individuals within their family home, in the Rainworth and Mansfield community, through a range of activities tailored to the individual who is requiring the support.

Contract Type: 2+ roles - 1× 10 hours and Various Zero Hours - various

We are looking for caring and supportive people to become an enablement worker in the community.

We are seeking support and enablement workers (10 hour role male and driver specific) for our expanding service specifically in the Rainworth and Mansfield area. We are looking for individuals with great social skills, with some experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities or autism, who are reliable and able to use their initiative whilst supporting individuals within the community.

We need people to support children, young people and adults on a 1-2-1 basis in the community, accessing community services and supporting the person to achieve their specific aims (such as socialising, travel training, healthy living etc).
