  • Assist in providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to the medical and nursing team within the Department of Sexual Health, including taking and distributing minutes, typing clinical letters, and other administrative tasks as required.
  • Support and maintain the in-house sexual health appointment system and electronic patient records system, Lilie.
  • Respond efficiently to telephone and email enquiries from patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Work independently and collaboratively, prioritising and managing workload accurately, and responding to departmental needs and reporting frameworks.
  • Provide cover and assistance to reception colleagues during leave, absence, or increased workload.

Essential and desirable skills

  • Educated to GCSE level in Maths and English
  • Experience in administration
  • Good computer and keyboard skills
  • Full driving licence and access to own transport
  • Non-judgemental attitude and awareness of confidentiality
  • Knowledge of confidentiality and safeguarding
  • Experience with Lilie and Lorenzo IT software
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Knowledge of Sexual Health
  • Willingness to develop and train further
