Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking qualified Primary Supply Teachers to work across Beverley and surrounding areas. You’ll deliver engaging lessons in a range of primary schools, across EYFS to KS2, with flexible day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements.

Ideal candidates hold QTS or equivalent, possess strong classroom management, and can adapt to diverse pupil needs while building positive relationships with staff. We offer local support and ongoing CPD.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2 curriculum.

Responsibilities

We are first port of call supplier for local trusts have guaranteed daily work available each week.

The Role

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you'll be responsible for delivering engaging lessons and creating positive learning environments that enable pupils to thrive.

Responsibilities may include:

• Teaching across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Delivering engaging and well-structured lessons in line with school planning.
• Adapting teaching to meet the needs of individual pupils.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Supporting pupils with a range of abilities and additional needs.
• Assessing pupil progress and providing appropriate feedback.
• Building positive relationships with pupils and school staff.
• Ensuring safeguarding and school policies are followed at all times.
• Working effectively with Teaching Assistants and other support staff.

• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
