Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is actively recruiting enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers to work in a variety of welcoming primary schools across Derby and Derbyshire. We offer day-to-day supply, short-term, and long-term opportunities with flexible placements to fit around your lifestyle.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required, with experience in EYFS, KS1, or KS2. You will manage classrooms, adapt to different environments, and ensure safeguarding.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet the diverse needs of pupils.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Ensure safeguarding and school policies are adhered to at all times.
• Enjoy the flexibility of choosing assignments that suit your availability.

What We're Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
• Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A flexible, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Confidence working in different school environments.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
• ECTs are encouraged to apply.
