Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Primary Supply Teacher to work flexibly across Basildon’s primary schools. You will deliver engaging lessons for KS1–KS2, build rapport with pupils and staff, and uphold high classroom standards.

The role offers day-to-day and long-term opportunities with competitive daily rates (£140-£170) and ongoing CPD and support from a dedicated consultant team.

Qualifications

• QTS or ECTs encouraged to apply.
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to adapt to different school environments.
• Positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Maintain high standards of classroom management across placements.

TeacherActive is looking to recruit an enthusiastic Primary Supply Teacher to work on a flexible day-to-day and long-term basis across a range of Primary Schools in Basildon. The successful Primary Supply Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff, and maintain high standards of classroom management.

The successful Primary Supply Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also encouraged to apply)
• Experience teaching within a UK Primary School
• Strong classroom management skills
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• The ability to adapt to different school environments
• A positive and enthusiastic approach to teaching
