Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Primary Supply Teacher to deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in South Woodham Ferrers and surrounding areas.

The role offers flexibility with day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements, and competitive daily rates (£140-£180). QTS or ECT status is required, with strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum and excellent classroom management.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching in a UK Primary School.
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum.

Salary: £140 - £180 per day (Dependent on Experience)

We have work available to suit your availability, whether you're looking for one day a week or full-time opportunities.

The successful Primary Supply Teacher will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, maintaining high standards of behaviour, creating an engaging learning environment, and ensuring pupils continue to make progress in the absence of their class teacher.

The successful Primary Supply Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Experience teaching within a UK Primary School
• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
• A positive, enthusiastic and flexible approach to teaching
