Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Primary Supply Teacher for Chelmsford, Essex. Start date September 2026 with immediate starts available. Salary is £130-£160 per day, dependent on experience.

You will deliver pre-planned lessons across EYFS to KS2 in welcoming primary schools, maintaining high standards of behaviour and helping pupils progress in the absence of their class teacher. QTS or ECT is required, with experience in a UK primary setting and strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.

• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

What you will need
