Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in Lancashire primary schools. This role offers flexible day-to-day supply, short-term and long-term placements, with priority for those who bring SEN experience.

You will work one-to-one and in small groups, supporting learning, development and behaviour, with ASC, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, while collaborating with the class teacher to deliver inclusive lessons.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
  • Experience across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
  • A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

Responsibilities

Location: Preston, South Ribble, Leyland, Chorley, West Lancashire & Blackburn with Darwen
Pay: £14.25 per hour
Contract: Flexible supply / short-term / long-term opportunities

We are currently recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a number of welcoming primary schools across Lancashire.


About the Role


  • Provide tailored support to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
