Job summary

Lyreco is seeking a Supply Planner in Telford to manage suppliers, monitor service levels, and place orders to ensure timely delivery. The role focuses on optimizing supply chain performance, building strong supplier relationships, and driving action plans with the Head of Planning.

The ideal candidate will have SAP experience, advanced Excel skills, and a proven track record in stock management, with a commitment to excellence and a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Experience working with SAP (Supply Chain Modules).
• Intermediate Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
• Excellent negotiation skills to communicate at all levels.
• Proven experience in stock management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head of Planning to manage suppliers, evaluate SSL, and establish action plans accordingly.
• Monitor and follow up on supplier service level improvement plans.
• Place purchase orders and diligently track orders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Analyse root causes of backorders and devise continuous improvement action plans.
• Handle supplier litigation and plan supplier returns when necessary.
