Lyreco UK and Ireland in Telford is seeking a Supply Planner to manage supplier relations, place purchase orders, and monitor SSL while driving stock optimization. The role requires strong negotiation and Excel skills within a fast-paced UK environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Head of Planning to manage suppliers, evaluate their service level (SSL), and establish action plans accordingly.
• Monitor and follow up on supplier service level improvement plans.
• Place purchase orders and diligently track orders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Analyse root causes of backorders and devise continuous improvement action plans.
• Handle supplier litigation and effectively plan supplier returns when necessary.

As a Supply Chain Planner, You Will Have

• Experience working with SAP (Supply Chain Modules).
• Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including v-lookups and pivot tables.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
• Excellent negotiation skills to effectively communicate and interact at all levels of the business.
• Proven experience in stock management.
