Job summary

Lyreco is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to manage a group of suppliers, monitor SSL, and collaborate with the Head of Planning to drive performance and implement corrective actions. The role includes placing orders, tracking deliveries, and analyzing backorders to prevent future issues.

The ideal candidate will have SAP SCM experience, strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables), and excellent negotiation abilities. This position emphasizes a fast-paced environment and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Head of Planning to manage suppliers and SSL.
• Monitor supplier improvement plans and follow up as needed.
• Place and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Analyze root causes of backorders and implement improvement actions.
• Handle supplier litigation and plan returns as required.
• Work with SAP Supply Chain modules to support operations.
• Maintain intermediate Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).

Job description

As a Supply Chain Planner, you will play a crucial role in managing a group of suppliers, ensuring optimal supply chain performance, and fostering strong supplier relationships. From supporting the supply chain element of contract setup to order management and implementing action plans, your expertise will contribute to achieving the best supplier performance.,

• Collaborate with the Head of Planning to manage suppliers, evaluate their service level (SSL), and establish action plans accordingly.
• Monitor and follow up on supplier service level improvement plans.
• Place purchase orders and diligently track orders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Analyse root causes of backorders and devise continuous improvement action plans.
• Handle supplier litigation and effectively plan supplier returns when necessary. Experience working with SAP (Supply Chain Modules).
• Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including v-lookups and pivot tables.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.
• Excellent negotiation skills to effectively communicate and interact at all levels of the business.
