Job summary

Sunshine Nursery School in Sudbury is inviting a Nursery Practitioner to join our warm team and help keep children safe, loved and inspired to learn. You will implement the Storal curriculum and EYFS-based pedagogy in daily activities and contribute to a caring, engaging environment.

We welcome applicants with Early Years qualifications or those unqualified who are passionate about child development, enjoy teamwork and communicating with families, and who share our commitment to outstanding care

Qualifications

• Early Years qualification Level 2/3 or unqualified
• Experience working with all age groups within Early Years
• Ability to work in a team
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework
• A true love for child development and care

Responsibilities

• Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily
• Seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions

Job description

Nursery: Sunshine Nursery School, 8 Warner Way, Chilton Industrial Estate, Sudbury, CO10 2GG

Hours: Casual hours, Monday - Friday
Salary: up to £13.55 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the role:

• Able and willing to work in a team
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, your peers and parents
• High levels of care and empathy that every opportunity can be a learning opportunity
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework

Must haves:

• Early Years qualification at Level 2/3 or unqualified
• Experience working with all age groups within Early Years
