Job summary

Storal is seeking a Nursery Practitioner to work across multiple nurseries in the Essex area. Full-time, 40 hours per week, with a salary of £16.00 per hour. You will contribute to delivering the Storal curriculum and supporting children across different settings.

The role requires an Early Years Level 3 qualification, experience with EYFS, and a valid UK driving licence with access to a car, with travel within the Winchester area expected.

• An Early Years qualification at Level 3.
• Experience of working with all age groups within Early Years settings.
• Knowledge of the EYFS framework would be advantageous.
• Have a full clean UK driving licence and access to a car.
• Be willing to travel within the Winchester area.

The Team

You’ll be joining Mandy’s team of area support Nursery Practitioners, Mandy has 35 years of experience in childcare having working in several roles including Nursery Manager and Area Manager.

Our Nursery Support Team is in the North East and will cover the following nurseries,Sunshine (CO10 2GG) Willow Tree (CO15 4US). We have a wide variety of remarkable nurseries where our experienced and passionate team brings a wealth of early years expertise. We know that every child is unique, with their own story to tell, so we tailor our approach to suit each child’s pace, personality, and interests ensuring they feel supported, seen, and celebrated.

How you’ll spend your time here

In this role, you will work closely with Mandy and the Nursery Managers to provide day-to-day cover and support where it is needed most. Flexibility is key, as your schedule may vary week to week.

You’ll plan activities, observe progress and manage personal care for children. Applying the Storal curriculum & our pedagogy principles to our children daily.

Whilst seeking out learning opportunities in everyday routines such as mealtimes & transitions. Bonding with your children and their families by engaging in meaningful moments.
