Storal’s Hemsley House Nursery School in Maidstone, Kent is looking for flexible Early Years Educators to cover shifts as needed. Roles are zero-hour, casual, with a pay up to £13.70 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
You’ll work to support children, deliver activities, and adapt plans day-by-day while applying EYFS standards in a nurturing environment. Benefits include childcare discounts and wellness days.

You’ll be helping to provide cover for the children as and when needed. This could be for periods of holiday, sickness, or even vacancy gaps. Sometimes you'll support for a full day, or it may just be a morning or afternoon session.
You’ll likely start most of your days with a fully formulated plan. That will soon get completely derailed though. Pivoting when the circumstances call for it is a regular occurrence in child care!
Creativity is key. Teaching young children allows for hands on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games. It’s important to keep things fresh and try new activities to keep attention spans engaged. Of course we work within the EYFS standards, but that doesn't stop you from engaging your creative flair and enthusiasm for learning.
You’re a Level 2 or above qualified, Early Years Educator / Practitioner / Nursery Nurse or similar and you're looking for an Early Years Educator/Nursery Nurse/Early Years Practitioner role that allows you flexibility of working shifts around your other commitments.
