Zusammenfassung

Storal Learning Ltd. is seeking casual/bank Early Years Educators to cover gaps as needed across our settings in the Sittingbourne area. You may work full days or partial sessions and should be prepared to adapt plans while delivering engaging activities for children.

We welcome applicants with a Level 2+ Early Years qualification and experience with under-5s. EYFS knowledge is desirable, and flexibility with shifts is essential to support our team and the children’s learning journey.

Qualifikationen

• Full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification in early years.
• Experience as an Early Years Educator or Nursery Nurse with under-5 children advantageous.
• Knowledge of EYFS desirable.

Salary: Up to £13.30 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

How You’ll Spend Your Time Here

You’ll be helping to provide cover for the children as and when needed. This could be for periods of holiday, sickness, or even vacancy gaps. Sometimes you'll support for a full day, or it may just be a morning or afternoon session.

You’ll likely start most of your days with a fully formulated plan.... That will soon get completely derailed though... Pivoting when the circumstances call for it is a regular occurrence in child care!

Creativity is key. Teaching young children allows for hands on arts and crafts, storytelling, exercise, and educational games. It’s important to keep things fresh and try new activities to keep attention spans engaged. Of course we work within the EYFS standards, but that doesn't stop you from engaging your creative flair and enthusiasm for learning.

You’re a Level 2 or above qualified, Early Years Educator / Practitioner / Nursery Nurse or similar and you're looking for an Early Years Educator/Nursery Nurse/Early Years Practitioner role that allows you flexibility of working shifts around your other commitments.

You enjoy supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children and were born to teach and shape the future of our younger generations.

You have a natural, nurturing, openness, a warm and positive outlook, and you care about learning and education standards in the UK.

What You'll Need

• A full and relevant Level 2 or above qualification within early years. • Experience as an Early Years Educator (Nursery Nurse/Practitioner) or having worked with children under the age of 5, is advantageous
• Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable
