Focal Systems in Coventry, UK is seeking a Supply Chain Technician on a fixed-term contract to support warehouse and logistics operations. The role mainly covers daytime shifts, with possible evenings or weekends depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse, supply chain, inventory, or technical repair.
• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for hardware issues.
• Experience with pallet preparation, order picking, and inventory management.
• Physical stamina to work on feet for extended periods (up to 9 hours).
• Willingness to work occasional weekends or evenings.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders and prepare pallets for deliveries, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Complete accurate inventory counts and maintain up-to-date stock records.
• Repair cameras and hardware components so they can be returned to the field in good working order.
• Diagnose faults in returned camera hardware and determine repair or replacement needs.
• Onboard/scan products into the system as required.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent, using company-provided tools.
• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet trucks, hand tools) safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to minimise risks during warehouse operations.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely completion of orders and repairs.
• Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure inventory and repair work meets quality standards.
• Meet or exceed speed and quality KPIs consistently.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to provide updates on progress and flag any issues.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
