Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per year

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 9am - 5.30pm; Fridays 9am - 3pm

Job type: Full-time, permanent

Bridge Recruitment is assisting an established client in recruiting an experienced Supply Chain Supervisor to join their expanding team. The role involves managing 8-10 people, with potential for growth.

Location: Bedford

Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Supervisor
  1. Goods In (Inbound Logistics): Oversee receipt and inspection of incoming goods, verify shipments, ensure proper labeling, storage, and logging, and oversee stock rotation.
  2. Goods Out (Outbound Logistics): Manage order processing, coordinate with transport teams, ensure correct packing, and oversee shipping documentation.
  3. Inventory & Warehouse Management: Maintain stock records, conduct audits, optimize storage, and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams.
  4. Team Leadership & Compliance: Lead warehouse staff, ensure safety compliance, train staff, and monitor performance for efficiency improvements.
Requirements
  1. Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management.
  2. Strong leadership and team management skills.
  3. Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
  4. Understanding of stock control and inventory management.
  5. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  6. Forklift license (preferred but not always required).
