The Boeing Company in the United Kingdom is seeking a Logistics Support Rep (LSR) to provide tactical supply chain support to UK Fixed Wing activities and contracts, following Supply Chain Best Practice. You will work under the Fixed Wing Execution Manager and comply with Go4Zero H&S policies and security protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Day to day management of assigned parts and supply priorities.
  • Vet daily SC priorities to meet aircraft requirements using reports.
  • Process all demand requisitions using RDD as the prioritisation mechanism.
  • Escalate risks to KPIs to Supply Chain Management.
  • Support RCCA for spares failing their RDD with analysis reports to management.
  • Generate supply solutions for unavailable requirements.
  • Prioritise tasks to support business needs efficiently.
  • Communicate maintenance changes affecting parts availability.
  • Build relationships with support organisations for seamless service.
  • Follow BU processes and propose improvements when gaps are found.
  • Mentor junior team members in supply chain best practices.
  • Provide SME guidance to internal stakeholders for long-range needs.
  • Host meetings to drive success of assigned RAAs.

Logistics Support Rep (LSR)

Job Description/Responsibilities:

You will provide tactical Supply Chain support to UK Fixed Wing activities and contracts utilizing Supply Chain Support Best Practice. Responsible to the Fixed Wing Execution Manager. You will be aware of and adhere to Boeings Go4Zero H&S Policies and Security Protocols.

Scope of the Role:
  • Day to day management of assigned parts.
  • Vetting of daily SC priorities to meet aircraft requirements through communication and system driven reports.
  • Interrogation, vetting and processing all demand requisitions on a daily basis using Required Delivery Dates as the mechanism to prioritise requirements.
  • Escalation of known problems and any risk to Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to Supply Chain Management
  • Support Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) for spares that fail their Required Delivery Date (RDD), reporting completed analysis to P-8A Supply Chain Management
  • Generate supply solutions of assigned parts for those requirements not immediately available.
  • Efficiently prioritise all tasks and work to best support the business needs.
  • Identify and communicate maintenance changes that may affect availability of parts in support of fleet requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with support organisations to ensure a seamless support is provided
  • Conduct Supply Chain Support activities in line with Business Unit Processes and Procedures.
  • Review and amend Processes and Procedures when gaps/errors are identified during the day to day activities
  • Mentor junior members of the team in Supply Chain Best Practices and help resolve minor issues as they become experienced
  • Provide SME guidance and support to internal stakeholders for long-range Programme requirements
  • Host meetings pertinent to the success of assigned RAAs.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks allocated by management to support business requirements
  • Provide out of hours service as required.
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
  • UK Security Clearance for which the UK Government requires UK residency.
  • Active Driving License
Preferred Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Previous experience in MOD systems
Important information regarding this requisition:

This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Benefits and pay are resolved at the local level.

No relocation package and visa sponsorship. This position requires the ability to acquire a UK security Clearance for which the UK Government requires UK residency. ( 5 years residency)

The successful candidate will hold, or have the ability to acquire, Security Clearance (SC). All information will be checked and verified.
