Job summary

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Goodwood is offering a Placement Year in Supply Chain Quality Management. You will support supplier-related tasks, manage escalation meetings, and help develop the SCQ role within a global automotive supply chain.

The placement provides hands-on experience from day one at a world-class manufacturer. The role requires you to be returning to studies for at least 6 months after completion, with legal right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a bachelor’s degree and on track to achieve a 2:2 or above.
• Understanding and interest in digitalisation and IT systems.
• High intrinsic motivation and creativity.
• Good project management skills and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Ability to cooperate and work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage the organisation of special escalation meetings with suppliers.
• Manage the distribution and resolution of Complaint Reports and 8D reports.
• Maintain databases of supplier contacts and SCQ activities.
• Engage in Special Projects to develop the role of supply chain quality management.
