Job summary

CVI Infrared Optics is seeking a proactive Supply Chain Administrator to support shipping, goods receiving, and inventory control within a manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will assist with documentation, ERP records, and cross-functional coordination across purchasing, production and quality teams.

This full-time role offers training and career development in a collaborative team. Location: Whetstone, Leicester; hours Mon-Fri, 08:30–16:30.

Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing, production, logistics or supply chain.
A track record in goods receiving and inventory handling.
Shipping and logistics experience.
Experience using ERP systems.
Good Microsoft Office and Outlook skills.
Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

Prepare finished goods for shipment including wrapping, packing, labelling and documentation.
Arrange freight collections and monitor shipments through to collection.
Coordinate the release of test pieces to appropriate teams.
Manage production consumables including stock monitoring and replenishment.
Process MSOs and prepare CoCs as required.
Verify, archive and distribute shipping documentation.
