Job summary

Morrisons Head Office in Bradford is seeking a leader for the Supply Chain - System Optimisation team on a permanent, 37-hour week basis. The role focuses on building rules-based algorithms to boost forecast accuracy, automation, and planning for improved product availability.

You will own project plans, manage risks, and influence senior stakeholders to secure investment for right-first-time implementations while driving operational excellence across store and supplier forecasting and pricing.

Qualifications

• Proven Leadership: Experience in shaping and delivering strategy into operational outcomes.
• Strong SQL and data manipulation skills.
• Domain knowledge of food supply chains and store/supplier ordering.

Responsibilities

• Lead on building rules-based algorithmic approaches to improve forecast accuracy and automation.
• Own project plans, timelines, and risk management for software changes.
• Champion project vision and outcomes with senior stakeholders.
• Validate forecast improvements to maximise availability and minimise stock and markdowns.
