Job summary

Lotus Natural Foods, the healthy snacking division of Lotus Bakeries, is seeking an Export Coordinator based at our St Albans offices. The role focuses on managing international orders, coordinating freight, preparing export documents, and ensuring stock availability with 3PL partners.

Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree, strong Excel and numerical skills, and be proactive communicators with a customer-focused mindset. Four days on-site in our UK offices are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum education to Bachelor's degree level.

Responsibilities

• Manage international orders across brands (Peter’s Yard, Nakd, TREK, BEAR, Kiddylicious, Biscoff).
• Coordinate international collections with freight agents.
• Prepare export declarations and customs clearance documents.
• Request health certificates and certificates of origin as required.
• Process export sales orders and resolve customer queries with the line manager.
• Maintain relationships with Inventory and 3PL to ensure stock availability and service levels.

The key focus areas of the role and where you will spend the majority of your time are:

• Working across all our brands: Peter’s Yard, Nakd, TREK, BEAR, Kiddylicious, Biscoff
• Liaising with the team in Switzerland managing international orders
• Arranging international collections with freight agents
• Arranging export declarations / customs clearance documents
• Requesting health certificates / certificates of origin as required
• Processing export sales orders
• Providing excellent customer service resolving all sales order queries and any issues, escalating when necessary to your line manager
• Advising export account managers of customer shortages
• Maintaining close relationships with the Inventory team and 3PL to ensure stock availability to fulfil sales orders and helping to achieve agreed service level targets.
• Ensuring that orders are transmitted to 3PL or factories for despatch.
• Monitoring and fixing SAP idoc errors on a daily basis.
• Investigating and raising credit notes against customer claims.
• Participating in weekly team meetings. Contributing ideas for profit improvement, cost reduction, system and process improvement.
• Raising export documentation as necessary.
• Any other duties, which might reasonably be requested in association with this role in order to meet the needs of the business.

Alongside living our TOP values, you will need:

• Right-To-Work within the UK (without sponsorship)
• Minimum Education to Bachelors Degree level
• ideally gained within the food industry
• Intermediate IT skills including Excel
• Numerical reasoning

• SAP experience would be advantageous
• Maintaining a professional and constructive relationship with customers.
