Job summary

Woodsetton School in Dudley is seeking a Children’s Lunchtime Supervisor to join a warm, supportive team. You will oversee welfare and safety during lunch times, assist pupils with meals and supervision in the playground or classrooms during bad weather, and help facilitate social interaction.

The role is term-time only (38 weeks), with hours of 9 hours 10 minutes per week, and requires a medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check, plus proof of right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Safeguarding and DBS clearance will be required.
• Proof of right to work in the UK is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee welfare and safety of all children during lunch times.
• Ensure meals are eaten safely and children treat others with respect, following the school behaviour policy.
• Support pupils to eat lunch and supervise in the designated play/teaching areas during playtime or inclement weather.

Hours: 9 hours and 10 mins/week term time only (11.50am - 1.40pm)

We are looking to appoint a Children's Lunchtime Supervisor to join our highly successful, dedicated and supportive school team .

The main purpose for this role is to oversee, individually or as part of a team, the welfare and safety of all children during lunch times, ensuring that the children eat meals safely, treat others with respect and follow the school’s behaviour policy .

This will mainly involve supporting pupils to eat their lunch and supervising them in a specified area of the playground / field during playtime or within the classrooms during inclement weather. This will also encompass facilitating play opportunities and social interaction.
