Job Role - Electrical Supervisor

Location: HMP Chelmsford

Salaries from: £40,000

Contract: Full Time - Permanent

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at HMP Chelmsford, a Category B male prison.

As an Electrical Supervisor, you will work alongside experienced colleagues including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference and providing a secure environment.

We are a five-year-old Ministry of Justice business providing critical services to HMPPS, seeking an Electrical Supervisor with:

• Minimum of five years’ experience as an Electrician, preferably within FM, secure environments, military, health, or similar sectors
• Qualifications equivalent to C&G 2367 or 2357 (Electrical Installation) and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
• Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical or building service systems
• Previous experience leading teams of Electricians and Maintenance staff, responsible for Electrical service delivery
• Certification in BS7671 - The Requirements for Electrical Installations, 17th or 18th edition
• Knowledge of risk, compliance, planning, and project management
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organizational, time management, and people skills
