The University Library, within the Student and Library Services Directorate, is dedicated to providing an excellent, innovative, and responsive library and information service integrated into university life.
We are seeking a leader for the site-based Academic Services Team at Writtle and Chelmsford, comprising Study Coaches supporting study skills and Subject Librarians delivering academic library services to our teaching, learning, and research community.
In collaboration with the Academic Services Manager overseeing teams at Cambridge and Peterborough, you will apply your leadership skills to ensure high standards of library services and study support for students and staff, aligning resources with curriculum needs.
Candidates should hold a degree or higher, with relevant professional experience or qualifications, and work closely with various managers and academic colleagues to meet service needs across sites.
The Student and Library Services Directorate supports an agile working policy, with at least 40% of weekly hours on campus and up to 60% remote work.
