Job summary

Belcan is recruiting a Site Supervisor for water infrastructure projects across Northumbria on a 6-month contract. The role focuses on supervising daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring SHEQ compliance to deliver works safely and on time.

Candidates should have a Site Supervisor background in water/utilities/civil engineering, strong leadership and communication skills, and a valid UK driving licence. SMSTS and CSCS cards are required for this engagement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Site Supervisor in water, utilities or civil engineering.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• SMSTS and CSCS prerequisites are required for this engagement.

Contract - 6 months

Location - Northumbria

A leading infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to support water and wastewater projects across Northumbria.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage daily site operations.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ requirements and company procedures.
• Raise orders and requisitions for materials, plant, and labour.
• Maintain accurate site diaries and project records.
• Support the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of works.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a Site Supervisor role within water, utilities, or civil engineering.
• Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
