Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking engineers to join a field-based maintenance team across London and the South. You will inspect, service and repair dewatering equipment, assist with installations and participate in standby and overtime as needed.

Ideal candidates hold a Full UK Driving License and have industrial mechanical maintenance experience, with NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. Training and development are provided within a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Full UK Driving License is required.
  • Experience in an industrial environment preferred.
  • NVQ Level 2 or recognised apprenticeship in mechanical maintenance.
  • Confined Space Training is desirable.
  • First Aid training is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with inspections, services and repairs to dewatering machines.
  • Assist mechanical repairs and modifications to pumps, pipework and valves and other ancillary equipment.
  • Assist pipework installations using plastic, stainless steel and mild steel materials.
  • Undertake standby cover and overtime as required and be willing to work away from home.
  • Provide front line care and maintenance of dewatering assets and ensure safe operation.
