Job summary

Marston's PLC in Oswestry is looking for a Supervisor to join our Highwayman pub team. You’ll lead a busy, fast-paced shift, support colleagues, and help deliver memorable moments for guests.

The role involves opening/closing, stock, and cashing up, with a friendly, customer-focused approach. We offer guaranteed hours, a flexible/part-time contract, and real progression opportunities through our internal pathways.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Supervisor or Team Leader role.
• Ability to lead and motivate others to deliver good guest experiences.
• Comfort with cash handling and shift opening/closing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team to deliver busy, varied service.
• Open and close shifts, stock, and cash up as required.
• Ensure efficient, profitable operation with strong customer service.
• Act as a role model for guest experience and initiative.
• Manage shifts when the wider management team is away.

Job Details

We're on the lookout for a Supervisor to join our team!

Right at the heart of the pub - creating moments of joy. You'll be there supporting the team to deliver the everyday moments and those stand-out occasions. You'll thrive from an environment that is busy, varied, fast paced but most importantly - fun!

As Supervisor you'll:

• Have a natural talent for leading and motivating others, you'll share moments of joy with our team and guests.


• Prise yourselves on delivering an experience that gets guests coming back for more.


• Have previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role.


• Work with wider pub management team to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably.


• Be responsible for opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up.


• Be a role model for customer service.


• Ability to think on the spot and use your initiative.


• Accountable for the smooth running of shifts and managing all aspects of the pub when the wider management team is away.
