Job summary

Marston's PLC in Crawley is seeking a Commis Chef for a 20-hour-per-week role with reliable hours. You will prep, create and bring our pub menu to life, starting in a busy kitchen and learning the ropes to potentially progress to Sous Chef.

The role invites someone with a passion for great food, teamwork in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to learn kitchen procedures, with opportunities for career development within Marston's Rewards and other benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar chef role or as an experienced KP.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn kitchen areas and procedures.
• Ability to work within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Support the kitchen team with day-to-day running.
• Passion to deliver great, hot food to spec every time.

Responsibilities

• Prep, create and bring our pub menu to life.
• Learn new prepping skills and own a section of the kitchen.
• Grow your career through the internal DNA pathway toward Sous Chef.
• Support the kitchen team in daily tasks and ensure timely service.

As Commis Chef: There's plenty to get involved with whilst growing your career and developing skills that you can take home.
