Thorn Baker Group in Gloucester is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor / Team Leader to take ownership of the store's cleaning operations.

You will lead an in-store team of around 7 people, maintain high cleaning standards, manage rotas and training, and work early shifts from 4:00am to 11:00am. This is a permanent, hands-on supervisory role with opportunity for stable long-term employment.

Cleaning Supervisor / Team Leader - Gloucester - £15 per hour

£15 per hour | 36 hours per week | Permanent | 4am-11am (this time can be changed at managers discretion)

Are you an experienced cleaner ready to take the next step into supervision? Or are you already a Team Leader or Supervisor looking for a stable, hands-on role within a retail environment?

We're recruiting a Cleaning Supervisor / Team Leader to take ownership of the cleaning operation at a retail store in Gloucester.

You’ll lead an in-store team of around 7 people, making sure the store is cleaned to a consistently high standard while supporting and motivating the team when needed.

Ideally you will have supervisory experience within cleaning but we can look at people with supervisory experience within other relatable experience

You don't necessarily need to have held the exact job title of Cleaning Supervisor.

We're interested in people with experience such as:

• Cleaner / Senior Cleaner

• Cleaning Team Leader

• Cleaning Supervisor or Manager

• Housekeeping Supervisor

• Retail Supervisor

• Hospitality Team Leader

• Facilities or Soft Services Supervisor

• Logistics / Warehouse Team Leader

If you've been responsible for people, rotas, standards, opening and closing, or day-to-day operations, and you're comfortable being hands-on, we'd like to hear from you.

You’ll need to be reliable, organised and comfortable starting at 4am, with the ability to lead a team, maintain high standards and communicate confidently with store management.

What will you be doing?

You'll take responsibility for the day-to-day cleaning operation, including:

• Leading and supporting an in-store team of around 7 people

• Checking cleaning standards and carrying out quality inspections

• Managing rotas, holidays and attendance

• Supporting recruitment and training

• Working alongside the team and helping with cleaning when required

• Making sure equipment and products are used correctly

• Dealing with issues and putting things right quickly

• Working with the store management team

• Ensuring Health & Safety and company procedures are followed
