Job summary

JD Group is seeking a capable supervisor to help run the shop floor in a fast-paced retail environment in the United Kingdom. You will support colleagues, uphold presentation standards and ensure excellent customer service across shifts.

You will assist with opening and closing routines, cash handling and till operations while maintaining brand standards and product presentation to drive store performance.

Qualifications

• Deliver excellent customer service and support customers while maintaining brand standards.
• Preferably with supervisory or team-leader experience in fast-paced retail or customer-facing environments.
• Strong communication skills to guide and support colleagues on the shop floor.
• Excellent attention to detail to uphold service, presentation and store operations.
• Interest in retail, product trends and ability to promote company values and behaviours.
• Awareness of visual merchandising and product presentation.

Job description

As a Supervisor, you play a key role in supporting the smooth running of the shop floor and delivering the high service standards our customers expect. You play an active role in supporting colleagues throughout each shift, helping to maintain high standards of service, presentation and store performance. You'll also support daily operational tasks as directed by Store Management.,

• Deliver excellent customer service by supporting customers, resolving queries, and ensuring team presentation meets brand expectations.
• Support sales performance by monitoring service levels, using in-store devices to offer the full product range, and assisting with effective product placement.
• Maintain strong visual and operational standards by keeping the shop floor clean, organized, and aligned with brand standards and company expectations.
• Assist with daily operational duties including opening and closing procedures, cashing up, and supporting accurate till operations.
  Previous supervisory or team-leader experience in fast-paced retail or customer-facing environments.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to guide and support colleagues on the shop floor.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to uphold high standards in service, presentation, and store operations.
• Strong interest in retail, solid product and trend awareness, and the ability to promote company values and behaviours.
