Job summary

Marston's PLC in Whitchurch is seeking a Supervisor to support a busy pub team. The role supports delivery of daily moments of joy for guests with a flexible, part-time schedule (approximately 20 hours per week) and a reliable hours contract.

The ideal candidate has prior supervisory or team-leader experience, strong customer service skills, and a passion for delivering great guest experiences in a fast-paced pub setting. A positive, proactive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role.
• Ability to lead and motivate others and deliver great guest experiences.
• Experience delivering strong customer service in a busy pub/retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the team to deliver moments of joy for guests.
• Ensure the pub runs efficiently and profitably with the management team.
• Open and close shifts, manage stock and cash ups.
• Be a role model for excellent customer service and show initiative.

We're on the lookout for a Supervisor to join our team!

Right at the heart of the pub - creating moments of joy. You'll be there supporting the team to deliver the everyday moments and those stand-out occasions. You'll thrive from an environment that is busy, varied, fast paced but most importantly - fun!

Responsibilities as Supervisor:

• Have a natural talent for leading and motivating others, you'll share moments of joy with our team and guests.
• You and the pub team will pride yourselves on delivering an experience that gets our guests coming back for more.
• Have previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role
• Work with wider pub management team to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably
• Opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up
• Be a role model for customer service
• Ability to think on the spot and use your initiative
• Accountable for the smooth running of shifts and for managing all aspects of the pub when the wider management team is away
