Job summary

Novap HR is seeking a Supervising Solicitor in Winnersh for a hybrid role (2 days onsite). You will lead a Family Law team, manage cases, and work toward supervision accreditation while delivering client-focused legal services.

Applicants should have England and Wales solicitor status, 5+ years PQE, and experience with Legal Aid CCMS. A supportive environment with development opportunities is offered.

Qualifications

• Solicitor qualification recognised in England and Wales.
• Minimum 5 years PQE.
• Experience working on legal aid cases.
• Willingness to obtain supervising accreditation if not already accredited.
• Excellent drafting, communication and client care skills.

A well-established Family Law Firm in Winnersh is looking for an experienced Family Law Solicitor to join its supportive team. The firm is known for its client-focused approach, professional development opportunities, and commitment to delivering high-quality legal services in a supportive working environment.

We are open to candidates who do not currently hold supervision accreditation but are willing to work towards obtaining it.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Family Law matters including Non-Molestation Orders, Child Arrangements, Divorce and Private Children cases.
• Provide excellent legal advice and client care.
• Prepare court applications, witness statements and legal documents.
• Manage Legal Aid applications through CCMS.
• Support and supervise paralegals and other team members.
• Work towards obtaining supervision accreditation if not already accredited.

Requirements:

• Solicitor qualification recognised in England and Wales
• Relevant accreditation for Supervising, or must be willing to obtain
• Must have, minimum 5 years PQE
• Experience working on legal aid cases
• Detailed, organised, able to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Must be confident in managing a team of Paralegals and supporting them in their roles
• Confident in using IT and different software
• Excellent drafting, communication, and client care skills
