G2 Legal Limited is seeking a qualified Family Solicitor to join its busy Family Department in Kidderminster. You will handle a varied caseload across divorce, private and public children matters, providing high-quality legal services to clients while pursuing a long-term career within the firm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' PQE within Family Law.
• Strong knowledge of Divorce and financial matters, Private and Public Children cases, and Injunctions.
• Experience with Legal Aid and privately funded work.
• Ability to manage a full caseload independently and efficiently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with SRA regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including Private Children, Divorce and financial settlements, and Injunctions.
• Provide clear and effective legal advice to clients in person and via telephone.

You will be responsible for managing a varied caseloadacross a broad spectrum of family law matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Solicitor looking to take the next step in their career, with clear progression pathways available.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a diverse caseload of family law matters, including:

• Private Children matters
• Divorce and financial settlements
• Injunctions
• Elements of Public Law (e.g. conferences and LAC reviews)
• Legal Aid and privately funded work
• Provide clear and effective legal advice to clients both in person and via telephone
• Maintain and manage case files in line with firm procedures and professional standards
• Ensure timely billing, including preparing files for costing and recovering outstanding disbursements

Your Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years' PQE within Family Law
• Strong working knowledge of:
  • Divorce and financial matters
  • Private and Public Children cases
  • Injunctions
  • Legal Aid and private client work
• Ability to manage a full caseload independently and efficiently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
