Job summary

The Grand Hotel Birmingham is seeking a Breakfast Assistant to start guests’ day with warmth and flair. You will provide friendly, generous service and ensure an outstanding guest journey across breakfast service.

Qualifications

• Warm and genuine nature, someone who can make people feel at ease.
• Confidently, clearly and politely pass information to all guests.
• Promote a positive attitude and show the ability to ‘make things happen’.
• Fully flexible to work weekdays and weekends.
• Previous experience not essential, but willingness to learn is important.

Responsibilities

• Promote an always welcome and professional image to the guest, and assist as needed.
• Know the menus, answer questions, and make recommendations.
• Follow all steps of service with a guest-centric focus.
• Build rapport with guests in your section to maximise sales opportunities.
• Contribute to a warm and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.
