Leonardo UK in Edinburgh is offering an Industrial Placement for a Test Software Engineer. You will develop software for test solutions across a varied product portfolio and gain hands-on experience from day one.

The year-long placement pays £26,228, with coaching from a dedicated team; successful completion may lead to a Graduate Development Programme. We encourage on-site presence and provide formal training.

Qualifications

• Must be an undergraduate student currently pursuing a Bachelor’s/Integrated Master’s degree or higher (e.g. MSc/PhD).
• Ideal candidates have interest in software for test solutions and chance to work across the product lifecycle.
• Demonstrates strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Responsabilités

• Develop software for test solutions across a varied product portfolio.
• Explore development lifecycle stages from requirements to delivery.
• Work on real development and production test solutions for internal and external customers.
• Collaborate with Hardware and Firmware engineers to resolve integration problems.
• Participate in engineering process improvements.
