Job summary

St Edmund's College, University of Cambridge seeks a Summer Intern to support the Library team from 6 July to 28 August 2026. You'll assist with the Library stock check and gain valuable experience in an academic library environment.

The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with a keen attention to detail. This role offers a working allowance for food and drinks, alongside free car parking where available.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a Library environment.
• Understanding of the Dewey Decimal Classification System.
• Ability to follow instructions and agreed processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the annual Library stock check, including locating and verifying items.
• Work with Library staff to identify missing or damaged items.
• Support the maintenance of the Library collection.
