Job summary

University of the Arts London is seeking a committed Library Assistant to join the Camberwell College of Arts Library Services team on a part-time, permanent basis. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, student-centred library services and supporting academic activities.

You will engage in front-line and administrative duties, assist users via in-person and ASK live chat enquiries, and support with library materials, accounts, and general IT literacy.

Qualifications

• Relevant library or customer service experience.
• Formal training to post-16 level.

Responsibilities

• Assist users with information enquiries in person and online, including live chat via ASK.
• Support front-line and administrative duties in the library.
• Provide support for self-issue systems, IT and printing.
• Participate in stock-related duties and item circulation.
• Help maintain and care for library collections.
• Assist with production of promotional material and instructional guides.
• Ensure health, safety and security guidelines are followed.
