Job summary

PfP Students is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to cover the summer period on a large site at University of York, YO10 5GE. You will deliver planned and reactive maintenance, either as part of a team or on your own, and manage your workload to minimise occupant disruption while keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront.

DBS check is mandatory for this position. The role is on site 8am–5pm with an hour unpaid lunch, five days a week, and includes an on-call rota outside working hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar maintenance or construction role preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Health and Safety compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance on site.
• Work as part of a team or independently.
• Manage workload to minimise disruption to occupants.
