Places for People – PfP Students is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to cover the summer period at the University of York, YO10 5GE. You will join a site-based team or work independently to deliver planned and reactive maintenance to a high standard, while minimising disruption to occupants and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Working hours are 8am to 5pm, five days a week, with one hour unpaid lunch, and an on-call rota outside hours. A basic DBS check is mandatory.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in a similar role (construction or maintenance).
• Customer service experience is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.

Aufgaben

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance on a large site.
• Manage workload effectively whether in a team or individually.
• Ensure the site is maintained with minimal occupant disruption and high customer satisfaction.
