Aon’s Actuarial Consulting Pensions internship programme offers hands-on experience across UK locations, including Birmingham and other offices. You will work with experienced actuaries on pension schemes, learning data analysis, modelling and client communications while developing your technical and consulting skills.

The nine-week programme emphasises structured learning, AI-enabled tools and collaboration, with the potential to progress to a graduate role within the same business area.

Qualifications

• On track to achieve a 2:1 degree (or equivalent) in a maths, actuarial science, or other highly numerical degree.
• Have achieved an A-grade or above in Maths A-level, A-grade in Maths Scottish higher or international equivalent.
• To have or are looking to build practical skills in Python, SQL, VBA, or cloud platforms.

Responsabilités

• Assist actuarial consultants with data analysis, modelling and client-ready outputs.
• Support workstreams and documentation to deliver pension project assignments.
• Develop technical and consulting skills while learning to use AI-enabled tools and global workflows.
