Job summary

Aon is offering a Summer Internship Programme in Actuarial Consulting – Pensions, with placements across multiple UK locations, including Manchester. The nine-week internship develops quantitative, consulting and communication skills while exposing you to data, modelling, reporting and AI-enabled workflows.

You will work with experienced colleagues, gain hands-on actuarial experience, and explore a potential graduate path within actuarial consulting.

Qualifications

• On track to achieve a 2:1 degree in a maths, actuarial science, or other highly numerical degree
• A-grade in Maths A-level or higher (or international equivalent) required.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, VBA and cloud platforms is expected; Copilot or similar technologies advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist across actuarial consulting projects for trustees or sponsor companies.
• Support data analyses, modelling, and reporting for pension schemes.
• Develop and communicate analyses clearly to clients and internal teams.
