Starting in September, this full-time position offers a daily pay rate of £94 to £140, ideal for adaptable and enthusiastic educators who enjoy variety and value building strong relationships within school communities.

About the Role:

As a Substitute Teacher, you’ll be expected to cover classes during teacher absences, ensuring lesson continuity and supporting student learning across various subjects and year groups. This role demands confidence, flexibility, and a calm classroom presence to engage students and uphold high standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-set lesson plans and maintain student engagement.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
• Establish a productive and safe learning environment.
• Provide feedback on student performance and classroom activities.
• Quickly adapt to different school cultures and classroom expectations.

Job Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Prior experience working in schools or educational settings is essential.
• Strong classroom management skills and adaptability across age groups.
• Clear, confident communication and a professional demeanour.
• A positive, proactive approach to stepping into varied teaching roles at short notice.
• Availability to work full-time from September 2025.
• Have anupdated CV(covering thelast ten years barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBSregistered to theUpdate Service(or be willing to apply for one).
