Job description

We’re looking for an experienced and driven professional to provide expert technical direction across a portfolio of subsidence repair projects. In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for developing repair specifications, guiding works through to completion, and acting as the go-to technical authority within the subsidence team.

You’ll also play a key role in shaping and refining our repair processes, supporting site visits, and collaborating closely with our supplier management team to strengthen our repair network. If you have a solid background in structural repair, multi-site project management, and subsidence engineering, we want to hear from you.

What you will be doing:

1. Reduce the average elapsed time from contractor assignment to completion of works.
2. Produce repair specifications and oversee repairs to completion.
3. Ensure all repair aspects are clearly justified and documented in file notes.
4. Adhere to client philosophies and policy wordings.
5. Support the development of Repair Claim Managers through workshops and training.
6. Encourage verbal communication, provide feedback to claim managers, and report concerns to the Operations Manager.
7. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and clients, reporting concerns to the Product Leader.
8. Draft clear and accurate repair specifications and manage VO’s in line with policy coverage.
9. Take ownership of all technical aspects of the subsidence repair phase process.

What we need from you:

1. Recognized construction engineering qualification or accreditation.
2. Chartered accreditation is advantageous.
3. High-level customer service experience.
4. Extensive knowledge of the construction, repair, and maintenance of domestic buildings within the subsidence area.
5. CII Qualification to Cert CII level is desirable but not essential.
