Davies is seeking a Subsidence Building Technician to manage complex claims from mitigation to final repair and settlement. You’ll liaise with customers, contractors and insurers, producing technical reports and driving cost-effective outcomes.

A building professional, graduate surveyor or trades expert with strong communication is ideal. You will handle multiple phases of claims, negotiate settlements and ensure high standards of service while upholding Davies’ values: Professional, Honest,

Qualifications

• Experience in subsidence or buildings insurance claims preferred.
• Strong communication and organisational skills required.
• Ability to manage stakeholders and negotiate settlements.
• Proficient in report writing and meeting SLAs.
• GCSE English or equivalent minimum.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers, contractors and insurers by phone, email and writing.
• Prepare technical reports to meet SLA deadlines.
• Manage daily tasks and contractor coordination for subsidence repair work.
• Assess estimates and negotiate cash settlements with policyholders.
• Oversee claims from mitigation through repair and settlement.
