Job summary

Davies Group in Worcester is seeking a Subidence Building Technician to drive subsidence claims from mitigation through final repair and settlement. You will work desk-based as part of the subsidence team, communicating with customers, contractors and insurers to move claims forward and ensure compliant, timely outcomes.

The role suits someone with subsidence or building claims experience, a trade background, or a graduate building surveyor looking to progress.

Qualifications

• Subsidience/buildings insurance claims experience or related building trades
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Strong customer service focus
• Proficient in report writing and data entry

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers, contractors and insurers to progress subsidence claims
• Produce technical reports to meet SLAs
• Manage daily tasks and contractor performance
• Negotiate settlements and review contractor estimates
• Maintain claim information in the claims system
