Job summary

Interventek, based at our Aberdeen head office, is seeking a Workshop Technician to join the engineering workshop team. You will support assembly, maintenance, inspection and testing of high-integrity subsea equipment, following drawings, procedures and company standards with a strong focus on HSE and traceability.

You will utilise test equipment to perform hydrostatic, pneumatic, thermal and functional testing, maintain build and inspection records, and ensure a safe, efficient workshop

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship or equivalent Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Previous experience within an engineering workshop environment.
• Experience within subsea/oil & gas or high-integrity engineering preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and hydraulic schematics.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and redress components following approved procedures and records.
• Perform hydrostatic, pneumatic/gas, thermal and functional testing per requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised workshop environment and report defects.
• Work within training, competence and authorization; demonstrate safety-first approach.
