Job summary

NES Group Ltd in Aberdeen is seeking a Materials Administrator to support subsea material mobilisation. The role focuses on SAP material management, inventory control, equipment tracking and logistics coordination to ensure materials are available when needed.

The successful candidate will manage inventory movements, maintain SAP data, collaborate with suppliers and project teams, and help with SAP transition efforts. Offshore subsea experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with SAP material management and logistics processes.
• Experience with inventory management, material movements, equipment tracking, and master data.
• Understanding of subsea equipment and offshore environments.
• Experience in large-scale projects or operations.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory, reservations, material movements, and equipment tracking activities.
• Maintain accurate SAP data and ensure high standards of data quality.
• Support material availability and operational readiness requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers, logistics providers, workshops, and project teams.
• Monitor material status and identify potential supply chain issues.
• Support reporting and performance tracking activities.
• Assist with SAP transition and stabilisation activities.
• Escalate risks relating to materials, inventory, logistics, and data integrity.
