Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Sub Agent to join the Sizewell C Project team in Suffolk. You will lead a defined section of civil works, coordinating engineers, supervisors and subcontractors to meet programme, cost and quality targets on a major infrastructure project.

You should have a degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent, with demonstrable experience in large-scale projects, RAMS, temporary works, and a CSCS card.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience on major infrastructure, highways or heavy civils projects.
• Strong understanding of RAMS, programme delivery and quality systems.
• CSCS card and working towards ICE or CIOB membership.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and CEMAR.

Responsibilities

• Leading the delivery of a section of works, developing short-term programmes and progress reports
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards through regular inspections and briefings
• Maintaining engineering control and overseeing the production of as-built records and quality documentation
• Planning and coordinating labour, plant, and materials while supervising engineers, foremen, and subcontractors
• Supporting cost tracking, change management, and promoting a collaborative one-team culture
