Job summary

Kier Group is recruiting a Section Engineer for the Sizewell C Project based in Suffolk. You will plan, supervise site operations for a defined section, act as technical lead, and support the Sub-Agent to ensure works are executed safely and to high quality standards.

You'll work within a regulated nuclear infrastructure environment, interpreting drawings, coordinating engineers, subcontractors and suppliers, and contributing to short-term planning and risk management.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.
• Experience in civil site work and setting out in infrastructure.
• Knowledge of construction methods, temporary works, and quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Interpreting drawings, specifications, and design requirements on site.
• Supervising site operations and coordinating engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Assisting with short-term planning, programme updates, and progress tracking.
• Producing and reviewing risk assessments and method statements, and delivering safety briefings.
• Maintaining as-built records and quality documentation.
